Police Appeal For Murderer Alison McDonagh
Police have launched an appeal for help to trace a murderer who failed to return to prison.
Alison McDonagh did not return to Hydebank Wood Prison after attending a work placement on Thursday, 11 February.
She is described as having two tattoos on her lower right arm, one is a ribbon saying "mum and dad", the other says "Mad + Mark, Courtney".
She has green eyes and brown hair.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 0800 555 111.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police Cancel Appeal For Missing Omagh Man
Police have said they believe missing Omagh man, Shane Sharkey, has been found in the Republic of Ireland. A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. No further details have been released but police thanked the public for their help.

DAERA Minister Confirms Commitment to Deposit Return Scheme
DAERA Minister Andrew Muir has reaffirmed his commitment to introducing a Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) in Northern Ireland. The DRS is designed to encourage recycling by offering a monetary incentive for returning single-use drinks containers. The scheme will cover PET plastic, steel, and aluminium containers ranging from 150ml to 3 litres.
