Man Shot In Co Tyrone
A man has been arrested following a shooting incident on Cookstown, Co Tyrone.
A 33-year-old man is being treated in hospital after being shot in his foot in the Queens Avenue area shortly after 3.25am on Saturday.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Police recovered a firearm and a 57-year-old man remains in custody.
Detective Inspector Will Tate said: "Anyone who witnessed this incident, or who has any information about it, is asked to contact detectives at Cookstown Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
"Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Colin Horner
A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Colin Horner in Bangor, Co Down. Mr Horner was fatally shot outside a supermarket in from of his young son on 28 May this year. The suspect has been taken to Musgrave police station to be questioned.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Police have launched an investigation after a man was shot in the leg in Co Tyrone. The man left his home in the Clonabay area in Coalisland at around 3pm on Tuesday, and returned on Wednesday with a gunshot wound to his leg. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Man Shot In Leg In North Belfast
A man has been shot in the leg in north Belfast. The incident happened in the Butler Walk area at around 10pm on Tuesday. The victim went to answer a knock at the door and before opening it he heard a loud bang and realised he had been shot in the leg. He received hospital treatment, however his injuries are not believed to be lift threatening.
