Two Teens Arrested Over Arson Attack Released

Two 18-year-old men arrested in connection with an arson attack in north Belfast have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The blaze happened at a derelict part of a house in the Wolfhill Avenue area on Saturday, 09 April.

A number of people had to be evacuated from the adjoining house.

The men were arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Pensioners Flee Bangor Arson Attack
Police in North Down are appealing for information following a suspicious fire at a community hall in the Skipperstone Road area of Bangor on Thursday. At around 9.00pm, petrol was poured over the door of the centre and set alight. A number of pensioners were in the community centre at the time.

Bar In Coleraine Targeted In Arson Attack
A bar in Macosquin, Coleraine, has been targeted in an arson attack. The premises, located on Dunderg Road, was targeted at around 2.15am on Tuesday, 04 July. Two residents managed to extinguish the fire at the front door before emergency services attended the scene.

Man Charged In Possession Of Heroin
A man is to appear in court charged in possession of heroin. Police arrested five people during searches of a property in Newry on Wednesday, 16 January. Two men have also been charged in possession of a Class A drug. A 50-year-old woman has also been charged with permitting premises to be used for the supply of a Class A drug.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Arson Released On Bail
A man arrested on suspicion of arson in Finaghy has been released on bail pending further enquiries. Two people were rescued from a blaze at a house in the area on Sunday, 07 January. The fire was reported at around 2.30am and emergency services attended the scene. A 32-year-old man and a woman in her 60s were rescued from the property.
