House Destroyed In Suspected Arson Attack
Police are investigating a suspected arson attack which destroyed one house and damaged another in Newtownabbey over the weekend.
The blaze in the Birchmount area was reported to police at around 2pm on Saturday 13 April.
One house was completely gutted and another partially damaged after a recycling bin at the rear of the homes was set alight, causing the flames to spread to the properties.
Two vehicles parked outside were also extensively damaged.
Detectives are working to establish a motive and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them on 101 quoting reference 675 of 13/04/19.

House Damaged In Petrol Bomb attack
A house in Larne has been damaged in a petrol bomb attack, according to police. It happened on Church Way at around 10.30pm on Wednesday. A man was in the house at the time but was unhurt. Minor damage was caused to the property and a window was smashed. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A silver Peugeot 407 and a white Audi A4 were deliberately set on fire outside a house in Magee Park at around 3.20am on Sunday, 10 September. The blaze destroyed both vehicles and spread to the house and caused extensive damage.

Appeal As Device Thrown At North Belfast House
Police have launched an investigation after a house in north Belfast was damaged in a petrol bomb attack. The disturbance took place on Glenard Brook shortly after midnight this morning, Monday 10 February. While no one was injured in the attack, police said damage was caused to a window pane and window frame.
