Police Appeal Following Armed Robbery In North Belfast
Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in north Belfast.
The incident occurred in the North Street area just before 9am on Friday, 17 June.
A man armed with a knife stole 50 to 60 cartons of cigarettes from a lorry making a delivery to a shop.
He made off in the direction of Carlisle Parade.
The lorry driver and his helper were not injured.
The suspect is described as being between 5ft 9inches and 5ft 10inches tall, aged in his early 30s, of stocky build and had a round, tanned face with a Belfast accent. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a dark zip-up top and grey tracksuit bottoms.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A man, armed with a knife, threatened staff at a shop on the Ravenhill Road at around 8.20pm on Friday, 01 April. A sum of money was taken and the man got into a silver car which was parked on My Lady's Road.
