Police Appeal Following Two Armed Robberies In North And South Belfast
Police are appealing for information in connection with two armed robberies in north and south Belfast.
A man, armed with a knife, threatened staff at a shop on the Ravenhill Road at around 8.20pm on Friday, 01 April.
A sum of money was taken and the man got into a silver car which was parked on My Lady's Road.
Elsewhere, two men armed with knives, forced staff to open the till at a fast food takeaway on the Cavehill Road at around 11.25pm on Friday, 01 April.
A sum of money was taken before the men fled the scene in the direction of Sunningdale Park. One of the males was dark skinned and was wearing a black coloured hooded top. The second male was white and was wearing a dark grey hooded top and was carrying a backpack.
No staff members were injured.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police have appealed for information in relation to two armed robberies which occurred in Co Antrim yesterday. At around 4.45pm yesterday, two men, armed with a handgun and a knife, entered a shop on the Doagh Road, Ballyclare. They threatened staff but left short time later empty-handed.
