Euro 2016 Fanzone: Opening Times Released
The gates to the Euro 2016 Fanzone at Boucher Road playing fields are to open at 3pm on Saturday, 25 June, for supporters to watch Northern Ireland play against Wales, which is to kick off at 5pm.
There will be a full bar and catering facilities on site and free shuttle bus services will operate between Donegall Square East and Boucher Road.
No parking will be permitted on the site.
The Fanzone will open at noon on Sunday, 25 June, for football fans to watch the Republic of Ireland vs France match, which is to begin at 2pm.
Admission will be on a first-come-first-served basis, and site capacity is limited.
Lord Mayor of Belfast, Alderman Brian Kingston, said: "Boucher Road is a great site, accessible to all parts of the city, and beyond. By locating the Fanzone here, the council is ensuring as many fans as possible get the chance to continue to demonstrate their phenomenal support for both teams as they enter this crucial knock-out stage.
"I would like to pay tribute to the team behind the Titanic Fanzone for the tremendous work they did during the qualifying round, and for all the hands-on support they have given us in relation to putting this new Fanzone together in such a short period of time."

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI), emergency services, and victim support groups have launched Road Safety Week 2024, highlighting the devastating impact of road traffic collisions. On average, one person loses their life on Northern Ireland's roads every week, with 57 fatalities recorded so far this year.
