Pregnant woman treated for shock following attack

A pregnant woman has escaped injury after a flammable device was thrown at her house in Armagh yesterday.

The device was thrown at the front door of the house in the Lisannally Gardens area at around 9.45pm on Sunday.

Scorch damage was done to the front door whilst a number of windows were also broken in the attack.

The woman was later taken to hospital and treated for shock.

Elsewhere, police are appealing for information after four flats where destroyed by fire in Co Tyrone on Sunday.

Police are treating the blaze, which started at around 9.30pm at Dunlea Vale in Dungannon, as suspicious.

No-one was injured in the incident.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

Brick Thrown At House In South Belfast Being Treated As Hate Crime
A brick thrown through the window of a house in west Belfast is being treated as a "sectarian hate crime", according to police. The house on Walmer Street was attacked just before 7.30pm on Sunday. Sectarian abuse was also shouted at a woman who was in the property at the time of the attack, however she was not injured.
