Two Men Arrested Over Robbery And Attempted Hijacking
Two men have been arrested in connection with a robbery and attempted hijacking in Co Antrim.
The incident occurred on the Antrim Road in Newtownabbey at around 11.30pm on Tuesday, 19 July.
Two men approached another man who was standing outside a fast food outlet and threatened him with a knife and forced him to hand over his wallet.
The suspects then attempted to smash into a parked car and tried to drag the driver from the vehicle.
When they failed, they made off on foot and were arrested a short time later.
Two knives were also recovered.
The robbers have been detained in police custody.

Police have launched an investigation after employees at a takeaway restaurant in Belfast were threatened with a hammer. The incident happened at premises on the Shankill Road shortly after 11pm on Tuesday, 07 March. A number of masked men armed with a hammer threatened staff and demanded them to open the till.

Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping
Police have arrested two men on suspicion of kidnapping. The males, aged 33 and 31, were detained in Co L'Derry. It is believed there arrests are in connection with an incident in the city on Thursday, 26 October. No further details have been released.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The men – aged 35, 58 and two aged 31 – were arrested during a planned search operation in the Crossmaglen area this morning, Tuesday, 26 September. All four were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They remain in custody at this time.
