Met Office Issues Warning For Heavy Rain And Thunder
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain across Northern Ireland.
The alert is in place from 3pm today, 21 July, until midnight.
Counties Fermanagh, L'Derry and Tyrone are expected to be the worst effected.
The Met Office said heavy showers will occur across western counties and there may also be thunder.
The showers are expected to clear in the early hours of Friday, 22 July.

A yellow weather warning for heavy rain has been issued across Northern Ireland. The warning has been put in place from 10pm on Wednesday, 22 February, until 2pm on Thursday, 23 February. The Met Office said the rain could bring flooding issues and driving conditions may be difficult. Periods of snowfall are also expected over higher ground.

Heavy Winds Expected Across NI
Heavy winds and gales are expected across Northern Ireland as the remains of Hurricane Gonzalo cross the Atlantic. A yellow weather warning has been issued by the UK Met Office from midnight to 3pm. On Monday night gusts exceeding 50mph are expected inland, with 60 to 70mph gusts in exposed coastal areas, according to the Met Office.

The Met Office has issued severe weather warnings for Northern Ireland. Heavy thundery showers are expected to develop across NI this afternoon and follow on into this evening. Some of the showers will be very heavy with torrential downpours, especially in the central and western areas.

Met Office Issues Yellow Weather Warning For NI
A yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for Northern Ireland. A small number of schools were forced to close in County L'Derry, Tobermore, Draperstown and Maghera following heavy snowfalls. The PSNI are urging motorists to be very cautious on the roads.
