Trio Released Over Death Of Dessie Mee
Three people have been released pending further enquiries over the death of Dessie Mee in Co Down.
Mr Mee, aged 45, was found outside Millers House in Newtownards on Regent Street on Tuesday, 26 July.
Police have been treating the death as "suspicious". Police were granted an additional 36 hours to question two men and a woman.
One of the men and woman have been reported to the Public Prosecution Service (PPS) for possession of a Class B drug.

Detectives have renewed an appeal for information following a deliberate arson attack at a vacant property in the Weaver's Grange area of Newtownards. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 17 November, 2023. Police and firefighters were called to the scene at around 12:40am.

Police Investigate Shooting Incident In L'Derry
Detectives are appealing for information after a young man was shot in the Creggan area on Wednesday night, November 27th. Shortly after 10:10 PM, police received a report that the man, in his late teens, had been shot in the leg. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
