Eighteen Sinn Féin Members Quit Over Treatment Of Daithí McKay

Eighteen members of Sinn Féin have quit over the way the party treated former MLA Daithí McKay.

Mr McKay resigned following allegations he "coached" loyalist blogger Jamie Bryson before he gave evidence at Stormont's NAMA inquiry.

According to the Ballymena Guardian the members are all from the north Antrim area.

Last week, the party announced it would replace Mr McKay with Councillor Philip McGuigan.
