Six Classic Cars Damaged During Arson Attack In Larne

Police have launched an investigation after six classic cars were damaged during an arson attack in Larne, Co Antrim.

The incident happened at businesses premises in the Brustin Brae Road area at around 7am on Wednesday, 31 August.

Police are appealing for anyone with information or anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area to contact them.

Six People Escape Injury In Larne Arson Attack
Six people have escaped injury after an arson attack on their house in Larne. The incident happened at a property in the Bryan street area in the early hours of Sunday morning. The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) put out a fire on a car which had been set on fire outside a house in the area.

Arrests Follow 'Paramilitary' Attack In Larne
Police have arrested two men, aged 28 and 33, following what is being described as a "paramilitary style attack" in Larne. The attack happened in the Shanlea Drive area on Friday afternoon at about 12:40. Officers were called to the area following an attack on a man.

Detectives have renewed an appeal for information following a deliberate arson attack at a vacant property in the Weaver's Grange area of Newtownards. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 17 November, 2023. Police and firefighters were called to the scene at around 12:40am.

Three children have escaped injury after shots were fired at a house in Co Antrim. A car was also rammed into the property in the Brustin Brae Road area of Larne, and set on fire. The incident happened at around 1.50am on Monday, 11 September.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.
