Gary Haveron Appointed New Manager Of Glentoran FC
Gary Haveron has been appointed the new manager of Glentoran Football Club.
His previous management role was at Carrick Rangers where in 2014/15 season he led Carrick to a trophy treble when Carrick won the NIFL Championship, Steel & Sons Cup and Intermediate Cup. He successfully led Carrick to retain their place in the NIFL Premiership in 2015/16 before resigning at the end of the season.

Police in Newtownabbey have appealed for information following a report of a bogus caller in the Greenisland area yesterday morning. Police have said that a a man claiming to be from the water service called to a house in the Old Carrick Road area of the town.

Co Antrim mums-to-be are to enjoy a boost with news that the new Midwifery led unit at Lisburn City's Lagan Valley Hospital will open early next year. After the 2nd of February, there will be a four-bedded facility with each of the four single rooms having its own en suite facilities and there will also be a birthing pool.
