Work On Resurfacing Project To Begin In Portadown

Work on a £140,000 resurfacing scheme for A3 Northway, Portadown, is to start on Monday, 17 October.

The resurfacing extends from outside Portadown railway station towards Armagh, taking in the junctions of West Street and Corcrain Road.

The scheme is due for completion on Saturday, 29 October.

Through traffic will be diverted via Charles Street, Brownstown Road, Armagh Road, Church Street, High Street, Castle Street and Mill Avenue.

Diversions will be put in place.

Second Phase Of Lurgan Improvement Scheme Begins
The Roads Service £120,000 improvement scheme being delivered in conjunction with the Lurgan Environmental scheme at Edward Street in the town is set to move into its second phase. The resurfacing of Edward Street is being carried out in two phases with most elements of the work scheduled to be carried out at weekends.
