Man Shot In Paramilitary Style Attack In L'Derry

A man is being treated in hospital after being shot in a paramilitary style attack in L'Derry.

The 22-year-old victim was found in the Hass Park area at around 8pm on Wednesday, 19 October.

He was abducted and taken to Dungiven where he was shot in the leg.

His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Sinn Féin MLA Caoimhe Archibald condemned the shooting.

She said: "There is absolutely no place for this type of behaviour in our society, it is totally unacceptable. I would urge anyone with information to bring it to the attention of the PSNI."

Man Shot In Both Legs In L'Derry
A man in his 30s has been shot several times in the legs in Co L'Derry. The shooting attack happened in the Rinmore Drive area at around 10.30pm on Tuesday, 09 August. The victim was shot in each ankle and once in the thigh. He is currently being treated in hospital, however his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Man Shot Dead At Family Home In West Belfast
A man shot dead in West Belfast on Saturday 18 December has been named as 31-year-old Mark Hall. According to police, two gunmen approached Mr Hall's family home on Rodney Drive shortly after 4:30pm.
