13-Year-Old Killed In Hit-And-Run Incident
A 13-year-old boy has died following a hit-and-run incident in Coleraine.
The teenager was knocked down by a car that failed to stop at about 6.30pm on the Newbridge Road on Saturday, 26 November. The boy died in hospital.
Police have said that the car involved failed to stop at the scene, but was found in Magherafelt a few hours after the incident.
A 23-year-old man was subsequently arrested and has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
DUP MLA for East Londonderry, Maurice Bradley, extended his "deepest sympathy to the immediate family and wider family circle".
The PSNI have appealed for anyone with any information to contact them.

Two Die In Road Accidents
Two men have died in separate road accidents. On Sunday, a man was killed when his car collided with another vehicle on Banbridge Road, Dromore, at around 6pm. A 42-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has been released on police bail. In a separate incident, a man, understood to be in his 40s, has died in Co Armagh.

The PSNI have asked West Midlands Police to investigate an alleged domestic incident at the home of Police Ombudsman Marie Anderson. It is understood that officers attended a "report of a domestic incident" at an address in Co Down on Saturday, September 23, at around 6.30pm.

Police have linked a gun attack on a police station on Wednesday night with a hostage incident in Co Antrim. A van used in the shooting of Randalstown PSNI station on Wednesday evening is believed to have been the vehicle stolen earlier in the evening from a family who were held hostage by a gang of men at a house in Craigstown Road in the town.
