PSNI Appeal For Information On Newtownabbey Hit-And-Run

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information on a hit-and-run incident in Newtownabbey.

At about 5.30pm on Tuesday 11 January, a young cyclist was struck by a vehicle as travelled across a zebra crossing at Cloughfern roundabout on O'Neill Road.

Police have said that they believed the vehicle involved in the incident was a silver/grey Jeep, which failed to stop. The vehicle failed to stop at the scene.

Anyone with any information, in particular anyone with dash cam footage from the area around the time the incident, is asked to contact police.

Man Dies In Co Tyrone Hit And Run
A man has died after being struck by a car in Co Tyrone. The incident happened on the Killyman Road in Dungannon just before 8pm on Tuesday, 30 January. The vehicle failed to stop at the scene. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

PSNI Appeal For Information On North Belfast Hijacking
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a report of a vehicle hijacking in north Belfast last night, Sunday 20th March. Making the appeal, Detective Sergeant Kitchen said: "Shortly after 9:05pm, it was reported that a grey Vauxhall Astra was parked at the Mountcollyer Avenue area with three males inside the vehicle.

Police Appeal For Information In Vehicle Arson Attacks
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a series of arson attacks on cars in the Benview area of north Belfast. Posting to the PSNI North Belfast Facebook page, police said: "In the past week there have been 3 vehicles destroyed by fire in the Benview area of North Belfast.
