Delivery Driver Threatened And Robbed In East Belfast

A delivery driver has been threatened and robbed by two masked men in east Belfast.

The incident happened on the Newtownards Road on shortly before 7am on Thursday, 08 December.

The suspects reversed a grey coloured car into the delivery van, threatened the driver and made off with a quantity of cigarettes.

A vehicle matching the description of the one involved in the robbery was reported on fire at Vulcan Street a short time later.

The delivery driver was not injured.

One man is described as being around 5ft 10inches tall, of medium build and was wearing a black coat, a white T-shirt and grey bottoms.

The second man was approximately 6ft tall, of stocky build and wore a white coat and grey bottoms.

Police are Appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Delivery Driver Threatened With Iron Bar In Donaghadee
A delivery driver has been threatened with an iron bar in Donaghadee, Co Down, on Monday morning. The incident occurred on the Killaughey Road at approximately 6.30am. Two men pulled the driver from his van, threatened him with an iron bar and demanded money. They made off with a sum of cash in a dark coloured car.

Delivery driver threatened with gun during robbery
Police have appealed for information after a delivery driver was threatened at gunpoint and forced to hand over a cash box during a robbery in west Belfast on Wednesday afternoon. The robbery occurred on the Andersonstown Road shortly after 4pm when a man armed with a handgun approached the driver and threatened him with the weapon.
