Martin McGuinness Pulled Out Of China Trip Following Medical Advice
Martin McGuinness was unable to attend a planned visit to China as he had to undergo medical tests.
The deputy First Minister withdrew from the trip following advice from doctors.
Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams TD said: "I'm sure everybody who values his work will send best wishes to Martin, Bernie and their family. I met with Martin as normal at Stormont on Monday. I have been in regular contact with him since and he is totally committed to fulfilling his duties."

Graduate Entry Medical Students To Benefit From Tuition Fee Loans
Economy Minister Conor Murphy has announced that from the 2025/26 academic year, students enrolled in the Graduate Entry Medical School at Ulster University's Derry-Londonderry campus will be eligible for tuition fee loans. Previously, graduate entry medical students were unable to access government loans to cover tuition fees.

Sinn Féin has called for all-Ireland support mechanisms for the victims of sexual abuse "during the conflict". Party leader Gerry Adams criticised the Taoiseach Enda Kenny for his "failure to respond" to letters sent by Northern Ireland's Deputy First Minister, Martin McGuinness, urging the establishment of an all-island support system.
