Boy 'Critical' After Being Hit By Car In Co Down

A five-year-old boy has been seriously injured after he was hit by a car in Co Down.

The incident happened in the Malcolmson Park area of Magheralin at around 4.45pm on Thursday, 12 January.

The boy is believed to be in a critical condition at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

The road has since been re-opened.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

Teen Injured After Being Hit By Van In South Belfast
A teenager has been injured after being hit by a van in south Belfast. The incident happened on the Rosetta Road at around 8.30am on Monday, 30 January. The 17-year-old boy has been taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital and is being treated for a suspected head injury. The road was closed but has since been reopened.

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.
