Boy 'Critical' After Being Hit By Car In Co Down
A five-year-old boy has been seriously injured after he was hit by a car in Co Down.
The incident happened in the Malcolmson Park area of Magheralin at around 4.45pm on Thursday, 12 January.
The boy is believed to be in a critical condition at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
The road has since been re-opened.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

Road Closed Following Crash In Co Down
A road in Co Down has been closed following a single car collision. The crash happened on the Belfast Road to Saintfield between the Ballyknocken Road and the Ballygowan Road on Monday, 24 April, after 10am. Emergency services were called to the scene and one person is being treated at the Royal Victoria Hospital.

A teenager has been injured after being hit by a van in south Belfast. The incident happened on the Rosetta Road at around 8.30am on Monday, 30 January. The 17-year-old boy has been taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital and is being treated for a suspected head injury. The road was closed but has since been reopened.

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.
