Two Men Arrested After Viable Bomb Discovered In West Belfast
Two men have been arrested after a bomb was discovered in west Belfast earlier this month.
A viable bomb was discovered on the Brian's Well Road in Poleglass on Sunday, 15 January.
Police said the device was designed to "kill or seriously injure" officers serving in the local community.
After a number of searches on Wednesday, 25 January, two men, aged 39 and 45, were arrested.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "There are people who will know information about those responsible for this device and I would appeal for them to come forward and speak to police.
"Anyone with information can contact detectives in Musgrave Police Station on 101. Or, you can contact Crimestoppers and speak with them anonymously on 0800 555 111."

Viable Pipe Bomb Found In North Belfast
A viable pipe bomb has been found in north Belfast, police have confirmed. Police and army bomb experts discovered the device in the garden of a house in Shore Crescent on Monday. The pipe bomb has been removed for further examination. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Belfast Man Held After Police Swoop On Dublin 'Pipebomb' Factory
Gardai in Dublin, investigating dissident republican activity, have arrested a Belfast man. A police swoop in the West Park area of the city has resulted in five men being held by officers. It is believed all the men are in their twenties. Detectives at the scene discovered equipment used for making pipebombs.

Two Men Arrested Over Attempted Murder Of PSNI Officers
Two men have been arrested in Dublin in connection with the attempted murder of a two PSNI officers. The suspects, aged 29 and 32, have been detained under a European Arrest Warrant. The arrests were in connection with a bomb discovered attached to a police officer's vehicle in L'Derry in June 2015.

Security Alert In L'Derry Ends
A security alert at the Public Prosecution Service (PPS) in L'Derry has now ended. Workers had to be evacuated from the building and army bomb disposal experts attended at around 1pm on Tuesday. A suspicious package was discovered however it was found to be "nothing untoward". The building is on the Limavady Road.

A controlled explosion has been carried out on a suspect device in Co Armagh on Friday. Army bomb disposal experts were called to the scene of the suspicious device which was discovered shortly before 5am on Friday following a telephone warning.
