Man Killed In Co Armagh Road Crash

A man has died in a single-vehicle collision in Co Armagh.

The incident happened on the Castleblayney Road near Keady on Saturday, 28 January.

The victim has been named by Sinn Féin as party activist Tim Woods, aged 52.

Cllr Cathal Boylan said: "I am shocked and deeply saddened at the news that a Sinn Féin party activist Tim Woods was killed in a car crash near Keady.

"My thoughts and prayers are with Tim's family as they come to terms with the news of his tragic death and I extend my condolences to them on behalf of myself and the party locally.

"Tim was a valued friend and party activist. He was a man of great wit and charm and will be sadly missed by all who knew him and it’s still hard to take in that he has been so tragically taken from us."

Man Dies After Bus Fall In Belfast

Police have said that they believe the man was travelling on a 2J Translink Metro bus service at around 11:15am on Friday, 08 November, when he suffered a fall as the bus travelled along Royal Avenue, near it's junction with North Street.

Attempted Carjacking In West Belfast
Police are investigating an attempted carjacking in west Belfast on Tuesday, November 19th. At around 5:30pm, a man entered a parked car at Hillhead Court and attempted to steal it. A woman passenger was assaulted when she resisted the man's demands. The suspect, described as a man in his 20s wearing all black, fled the scene on foot.

Man Extradited From Ireland To Face Serious Charges
A 33-year-old man has been extradited from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland to face serious charges. The man is accused of assault causing harm, coercive control, contravention of a safety order, theft, and possession of a weapon. The alleged offences occurred in the Monaghan area between 2020 and 2021.
