Police arrest man following stabbing in south Belfast
One man has been arrested following a stabbing incident in south Belfast early this morning.
It is understood that the man was stabbed in the chest after a row broke out between two individuals.
The incident occured at a house in Fountainville Avenue at around 1am on Tuesday.
The victim was immediately taken to hospital, however his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Police are treating the incident as attempted murder.

Two men die in separate stabbing incidents
Two people have been killed in separate stabbing incidents in Northern Ireland over the weekend. Hugh McKibben, 51, of Main Street in Carrowdore died in a stabbing incident at a house on Inisharoan Court about midnight on Sunday May 5. Four people were arrested following his murder but three have since been released on police bail.

Man Released On Bail Over College Stabbing Incident
A man, 20, who was arrested in connection with a stabbing at a college in Belfast has been released on bail. Police said the man was released pending further enquiries. A 26-year-old is currently in hospital following the incident at Belfast Metropolitan College on Thursday. His condition is described as serious but stable.

Man Arrested After Stabbing Attack
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in the back in south Belfast. The incident happened in the Fountainville Avenue vicinity at approximately 1.40am. The 29-year-old victim was taken to hospital and is said to be in a stable condition.
