Man Shot In West Belfast
A man is being treated in hospital after being shot in the legs in west Belfast.
The incident happened close to the jobs and benefits office on the Falls Road at around 8.30pm on Wednesday, 15 February.
The victim is being treated in hospital where he is believed to be in a stable condition.
Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
Alliance west Belfast candidate Sorcha Eastwood said it was a "barbaric attack".
She said: "There can be no excuse for bringing guns onto the streets of West Belfast. The shooting of a man on the Falls Road needs to be condemned without reservation. I hope this man makes a speedy recovery and I send him my best wishes."

A man shot dead in West Belfast on Saturday 18 December has been named as 31-year-old Mark Hall. According to police, two gunmen approached Mr Hall's family home on Rodney Drive shortly after 4:30pm.

Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was shot dead in west Belfast. The attack happened at a house in Glenwood Court, Poleglass, at around 8.15pm on Thursday, 20 October. He has been named locally as Joe Reilly, aged 43.

Warning Signs To Be Installed To Prevent Use Of Scramblers
Warning signs are to be installed across west Belfast to warn against the use of off-road vehicles being used in parks and public spaces. Police will also patrol hotspot areas to disrupt the dangerous, illegal activity and identify the people involved. The scheme has been launched by the West Belfast DPCSP and the PSNI.
