PSNI Appeal After Man Reported Shouting Verbal Abuse At Women

Police have launched an investigation following reports a man has been hiding in the bushes in west Belfast.

The suspect has been shouting verbal abuse at women passing in the Colin area.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "If you can identify this male or have been a victim of this please contact police on 101."

Ulster Rugby Ban Spectator Over Verbal Abuse
Ulster Rugby has issued a supporter with a lifetime ban from the Kingspan Stadium after verbal abuse was aimed at Irish winger Simon Zebo. The incident happened during a European fixture against Racing 92 on Saturday 12 January and prompted an investigation by the club. Ulster Rugby has since sent a letter of apology to both Zebo and his club.

Eleven Ambulance Staff Attacked Over An 'Unprecedented' Six Hour Period
Eleven ambulance staff have been attacked over an "unprecedented" six hour period over the eleventh night. The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) said the assaults happened in four different locations. Five staff were punched, kicked, bitten and spat at at a bonfire site in Carrickfergus.
