Man Seriously Attacked In West Belfast

A man has been seriously attacked in west Belfast.

The assault happened on the Andersonstown Road on Monday, 27 March.

The victim, aged 30, was getting out of his car when two men hit him on the hand with a machete and punched him in the face.

He was taken to hospital to be treated.

PSNI Detective Sergeant Keith Wilson said: "Detectives are particularly keen to speak with the occupants of a white coloured Jeep that was travelling on Andersonstown Road around the time of the assault."
