Teenager Sexually Assaulted In Belfast

Police have launched an investigation following reports of a sexual assault on an 18-year-old woman in Belfast.

The attacked happened in Gloucester Street at around 2am on Saturday, 08 April.

The PSNI said they want to identify a man who they believe may be able to help them with their investigations.

He is described as around 19-years-old, 5ft 7inches in height, thin, clean shaven with short dark hair.

Detective Inspector Zoe Tate said: "We are also appealing for witnesses and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area during the early hours of Saturday 8 April and who may have witnessed a distressed female or anything else unusual. RCU detectives can be contacted at Ladas Drive by calling 101, quoting reference 191 08/04/17."
