Man Critical After Falling From Mourne Mountains
A man is in a critical condition after falling while walking in the Mourne Mountains.
He is believed to have fallen between 30 to 50 metres.
The incident happened on Slieve Binnian at around 4.30pm on Monday, 01 May.
He sustained injuries to his head, neck and chest.
A spokesperson from Mourne Mountain Rescue Team said: "The casualty was located at the base of an area known as the water slabs in the Annalong Valley. The casualty was assessed and treated for multiple injuries including to the head, neck and chest. Due to the nature of the casualties injuries a helicopter evacuation was requested and the casualty was packaged in preparation. Rescue 116 responded from Dublin and subsequently airlifted the casualty to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast."

Man Charged After Glenarm Shooting
Detectives investigating the incident on Feystown Road on Monday, 25 November, have charged a 41-year-old man with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and criminal damage. The accused is due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, 28 November.

Man Dies After Bus Fall In Belfast
Detectives are investigating the death of an 80-year-old man who fell from a bus in Belfast. Police have said that they believe the man was travelling on a 2J Translink Metro bus service at around 11:15am on Friday, 08 November, when he suffered a fall as the bus travelled along Royal Avenue, near it's junction with North Street.

Attempted Carjacking In West Belfast
Police are investigating an attempted carjacking in west Belfast on Tuesday, November 19th. At around 5:30pm, a man entered a parked car at Hillhead Court and attempted to steal it. A woman passenger was assaulted when she resisted the man's demands. The suspect, described as a man in his 20s wearing all black, fled the scene on foot.

A 33-year-old man has been extradited from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland to face serious charges. The man is accused of assault causing harm, coercive control, contravention of a safety order, theft, and possession of a weapon. The alleged offences occurred in the Monaghan area between 2020 and 2021.
