Attempted Carjacking In West Belfast
Police are investigating an attempted carjacking in west Belfast on Tuesday, November 19th.
At around 5:30pm, a man entered a parked car at Hillhead Court and attempted to steal it. A woman passenger was assaulted when she resisted the man's demands. The suspect, described as a man in his 20s wearing all black, fled the scene on foot. While the woman was shaken, there were no reports of serious injuries.
Enquiries are ongoing and detectives would ask anyone with any information, or who was in the area and captured dash-cam or CCTV footage which could assist with their investigation, to contact them at Musgrave on 101, quoting reference number 1325 19/11/24. Another Attempted Carjacking In Belfast
A woman has been threatened during an attempted carjacking in south Belfast. Shortly after 09:30 am this morning, she parked her silver-coloured car close to some shops on the Upper Lisburn Road when she was approached by a man. He threatened her and demanded her car, but was disturbed by a passer-by and made off.

Man Arrested In Connection With West Belfast Attempted Murder
Detectives from the Police Service’s Major Investigation Team have arrested a 61-year-old man in connection with an attempted murder in west Belfast on Sunday, 23rd February. The arrest was made earlier today, Thursday 8th May, following the search of an address in west Belfast. The man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Police have arrested a man following two attempted burglaries in the west Belfast area on Saturday evening. The first incident was reported around 9.10pm in the Andersonstown Park West area. A short time later, another attempted burglary was reported in the Fruithill Park area at approximately 9.45pm.
