North West 200: John McGuinness Suffers Suspected Broken Leg

English road racer John McGuinness has sustained a suspected broken leg in a collision at the North West 200.

He crashed during the Superbike practice session on Thursday, 11 May.

He has been taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital to be treated.

Honda Racing tweeted: "Red flag @northwest200 was unfortunately John, he's conscious & is going to hospital with a suspected broken leg."

Work Underway For Free Hospital Parking In Northern Ireland
Work has begun at several hospital sites across Northern Ireland as part of the preparations for the introduction of free car parking in May 2026. Teenager Injured In East Belfast Hit And Run
A teenager has been injured in a hit and run incident in east Belfast. A girl was hit by a black car in the Mountpottinger Road area at around 2am on Tuesday, 09 August. She has been left with a suspected broken leg. Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Man Suffers Broken Bones In Attack
A man has been left with a suspected broken arm and leg following an attack in east Belfast. At around 8.30pm on Wednesday (4 February), a gang of five or six men are thought to have entered a property in the London Street area of the city. A man, aged 44, was attacked.

Suspected Firearm And Drugs Seized In PSNI Searches
A suspected firearm and large quantity of suspected Class B drugs have been seized by the PSNI during a major search operation in L'Derry and Antrim. Led by North West Criminal Investigation, the operation involved three searches at addresses in L'Derry and a fourth search at an address in Antrim on Monday, 17 June.
