Suspected Firearm And Drugs Seized In PSNI Searches
A suspected firearm and large quantity of suspected Class B drugs have been seized by the PSNI during a major search operation in L'Derry and Antrim.
Led by North West Criminal Investigation, the operation involved three searches at addresses in L'Derry and a fourth search at an address in Antrim on Monday, 17 June. It was during the search in Antrim the suspected weapon was seized. As the investigation continues, the suspected firearm will now be the subject of forensic testing.
During this operation a large quantity of suspected Class B drugs with an estimated street value of £17,000 was found at an address in L'Derry.
Two men, aged 50 and 58, were arrested as part of the investigation, and they both remain in custody assisting police with enquiries.
The North West Criminal Investigation team thanks the local communities for their support during the operation, and urged anyone with information, or concerns, to contact police on 101 or report online via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport

Suspected Firearm Found In West Belfast
A security operation in west Belfast has now ended. A suspected firearm was found during police searches in the Upper Springfield Road. Diversions were put in place and the area was sealed off. The item has been taken away for further examination and the road has been re-opened.

Police seized a total of £76,000 during searches in Belfast and County Antrim on Tuesday as part of an investigation into suspected gambling fraud. Gaming machines, a substantial sum of cash, documents and other items were seized during the searches and were taken away for further examination.

Man Arrested In Connection With Drugs And Firearm Seizure
A 54-year-old man has been arrested after police seized drugs worth an estimated street value of £15,000 and a suspected firearm. Police discovered the drugs and firearm during two house searches in east Belfast on Thursday and the search of a car in north Belfast on Wednesday. The man has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Three arrests in cross border raids
Three people have been arrested in a major joint PSNI and Gardai operation this morning into suspected organised crime activities in the border area. Gardai arrested two men and a woman for questioning following the operation during which a number of searches were carried out.
