Shankill Road home burgled

Police in north Belfast are appealing for information following a burglary at a house on the Shankill Road on Tuesday.

Thieves are thought to have broken into the house at Nelson Square between 9am and 5.30pm.

When the occupants of the house returned home they found the house ransacked with jewellery and Christmas presents stolen.

Detectives at Antrim Road have appealed for anyone who may have had jewellery offered to them from a dubious source to contact police on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
