Belfast Giants Appoint New Head Coach

Mr Adam Keefe has been appointed the new Head Coach of the Belfast Giants.

He captained the Giants from 2012/13 until the most recent season, 2016/17, and during his six seasons in Belfast played in 352 games and posted 56 goals, 78 assists, 134 points as well as 1,082 penalty minutes.

Speaking about his appointment he said: "I know what the fans and this city expects with regards to trophies. I know what is expected of me and I look forward to the challenge, I would not have it any other way.

"I'm a big believer in relentless puck pursuit with fast physical hockey. Years ago our Arena was known as a tough place to come into, teams knew they were going to pay the price when they came here with a hard fought game. I'd like to bring that back and make it tough for teams to come in here and win hockey games."
