Mark Garside, from Scotland, is to return to the Belfast Giants for an eighth season, it has been confirmed.
The 28-year-old first joined the Giants in 2010 after four years with the Edinburgh Capitals.
Garside has been a regular in the Team GB national side for seven straight seasons and scooped gold in the recent World Championship hosted in Belfast.
Head Coach Adam Keefe said: "I am excited about keeping Mark in Belfast and I know our fans will be too. He works very hard for the team and can play in any situation.
