'Substantial Amount Of Cash' Stolen From Church In Co Down
Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a church in Co Down.
The incident happened at Elim Penetcostal Church in Dundonald sometime between Saturday, 13 May, and Monday, 15 May.
A substantial amount of cash was stolen which was being used for a children's fun day.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Did you see anything unusual around the church over the weekend? If you think you might have any information at all please contact us via 101 quoting serial CC2017051600541.
"Alternatively, maybe someone you know suddenly has a large amount of cash, or you've overheard someone talking about this burglary. You can let us know anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

Education Minister, Paul Givan, has announced the opening of online applications for the Targeted Early Years Pathway Fund for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 academic years. The Pathway Fund, introduced in 2016, aims to provide early years education services for children aged 0-4 who may be at risk of falling behind in their education.

Police Investigate Shooting Incident In L'Derry
Detectives are appealing for information after a young man was shot in the Creggan area on Wednesday night, November 27th. Shortly after 10:10 PM, police received a report that the man, in his late teens, had been shot in the leg. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
