Substantial Amount Of Cash Stolen From East Belfast ATM
A sum of money has been stolen from an ATM at a commercial premises in east Belfast.
The theft, which occurred close to an off-licence on the Castlereagh Road, was reported to police shortly after 3.30am on Tuesday 18 December.
Those involved in stealing from the cash dispenser are believed to have left the scene and headed in the direction of Wayland Street.
Police enquiries are ongoing and Detective Sergeant McPhillips has appealed for anyone with information, or who saw any suspicious activity in the area, to contact them on non-emergency number 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

The 47-year-old, who was charged at the weekend with possessing and concealing criminal property but who denies the charges, appeared by video link from Maghaberry Prison and spoke only to confirm his name.

A pensioner has been treated for shock after being tied up during a robbery at her home in east Belfast last night. The 78-year-old woman was confronted by three masked youths as she slept in the living room of her home at Chesham Grove at around 10pm on Thursday.

Man Reported To PPS Over Ian Ogle's Murder
A man has been reported to the Public Prosecution Service (PPS) for the murder of Ian Ogle. The father-of-two was stabbed and beaten to death by a group of men near his home in Cluan Place, east Belfast on Sunday 27 January. Police said the 36-year-old was reported "for the offence of murder".
