'Viable Device' Found In L'Derry Security Alert
A viable device has been found during a security alert in L'Derry.
A suspicious object was discovered in the Cornshell Fields area on Thursday, 22 June.
Army bomb disposal experts attended the scene and carried out a controlled explosion. The device has been taken away for further examination.
A number of residents were evacuated from their homes, however they have now returned.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Viable Device Found In Co Tyrone
A viable device has been found following a security alert near Strabane, County Tyrone. A device was found on Ballyheather Road on Tuesday. The road has now been re-opened between the junctions of the Lisdivin Road and Clogher Road. Police and army bomb experts attended the scene.

Armour-Piercing Device Found During Three-Day Security Alert
A suspect device has been found by police during a three-day security alert just outside west Belfast. The PSNI confirmed that a horizontal armour-piercing device was discovered in the Poleglass area. A number of residents had to be evacuated from their homes during the alert and the PSNI have blamed dissidents.

Lisburn Security Alert 'A Hoax'
Police have confirmed an earlier security alert in Lisburn, County Antrim, was a hoax. An alert began on Tuesday morning when police received a report that a device may have been left in the Flowbog Road area. Flowbog Road, Hannahstown Road and Rusheyhill Road were all closed while police checked the area. All routes have since re-opened.
