Image Released Of Guns And Ammunition Seized In West Belfast
The PSNI have released an image of weapons and ammunition seized during a house search in west Belfast.
Four guns and a quantity of ammunition were discovered at a property in the Norglen area on Saturday, 24 June.
Detective Inspector Peter Mullan said: "The type of weapons and ammunition recovered are similar to those used in shooting attacks against members of this community, and their seizure by police has undoubtedly frustrated the activity of individuals intent on creating fear on our streets."
Investigations are ongoing.

Over 700 rounds of ammunition were seized by police during searches in west Belfast on Sunday. The searches were part of an investigation into dissident republican terrorist activity. A 57-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man were arrested and are being detained in custody.

Man arrested after weapons find
Police in north Belfast have arrested a man in connection with the discovery of a quantity of ammunition at the weekend. The arrest was made on Friday evening after a number of proactive police searches in the area. A shotgun, ammunition and a number of petrol bombs were recovered, and the man is currently assisting police with their inquiries.

Two remanded in custody over weapons find
Two people from south Belfast have been remanded in custody charged with the possession of weapons and explosives. The court heard that eight handguns, a semi-automatic rifle, 1,500 rounds of ammunition, 18 kilos of commercial explosives and a detonator were discovered at a house in Burmah Street in Belfast on Friday.

Attempted Carjacking In West Belfast
Police are investigating an attempted carjacking in west Belfast on Tuesday, November 19th. At around 5:30pm, a man entered a parked car at Hillhead Court and attempted to steal it. A woman passenger was assaulted when she resisted the man's demands. The suspect, described as a man in his 20s wearing all black, fled the scene on foot.
