Viable Device Made Safe In Strabane
A viable device thrown through the window of a house in Strabane, Co Tyrone, has been removed.
The incident happened at Melmount Villas at around 8.50pm on Monday, 07 August.
Two people were in the property at the time of the attack and one of them threw the device into a nearby field.
Police and army bomb disposal experts attended the scene and made the device safe.
No-one was injured.
Chief Inspector Alan Hutton said: "This was a reckless attack on the local community, which could have caused serious harm, and I am appealing for the community's support in identifying the perpetrators.
"I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to contact detectives at Strand Road Criminal Investigation Branch, by calling 101 and quoting reference 1314 07/08/17 or, if they wish to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

Arson Attack On 5G Mast In West Belfast
Detectives in Belfast are investigating a suspected arson attack on a 5G mast in the Andersonstown Road area. The incident occurred around 9.55pm on Wednesday, November 13th. Detective Sergeant Faulkner confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who successfully extinguished the blaze.

A viable pipe bomb has been discovered during a security alert in west Belfast, police have confirmed. It was found at Teeling Avenue in Dunmurry. A resident is believed to have found the device outside his home . Police and army bomb experts attended the scene. The Sally Gardens Community Centre was available for residents to use.

A viable device found during a security alert in north Belfast is believed to be linked to a hate crime. Police and army bomb disposal experts attended the scene at Atlantic Avenue on Thursday, 25 August. A number of residents were evacuated from their homes, however they have since returned.
