Brandon Benedict To Return To The Belfast Giants
The Belfast Giants have confirmed that Brandon Benedict is to return for the 2017/18 season.
The forward will make it a fifth season in Belfast when he pulls on the teal jersey once again during the exhibition games against the Manitoba Bisons.
Head Coach Adam Keefe has appointed Benedict as a Player/Assistant Coach.
Keefe said: "I am pleased Brandon is coming back to Belfast. He has been a central part of the organisation's success over the years and I know the fans will be excited to see Brandon back on the ice.
"His work ethic makes him a natural leader and I am delighted he will combine the Assistant Coach role with his playing duties."

Ulster Rugby has named Jono Gibbes as its new head coach. The 40-year-old will join the club on a two-year deal this summer. Gibbes, who is a former New Zealand player himself, is currently forwards coach at French side Clermont Auvergne. He previously worked at Leinster Rugby, helping the team to three Heineken Cup victories.
