Orange Hall Attacked In South Belfast
Graffiti has been painted on the wall and shutters of an Orange Hall in south Belfast.
The vandalism, at the building on the Mealogh Road area in Carryduff, was discovered by lodge members who were attending a meeting on Wednesday, 23 August.
A spokesman from the Orange Order said: "Orange halls are an easy target for such sinister activity and we would urge those moronic individuals responsible for such hate crime to desist."
Sinn Féin spokesperson Ryan Carlin condemned the incident.
He said: "I condemn this act of vandalism on Carryduff Orange Hall which was clearly designed to damage relationships in the local community.
"Those responsible represent nobody and have nothing positive to offer.
"I would appeal to anyone with information about those responsible for this act of vandalism to report it to the PSNI."
The Mealough hall incident is the ninth reported attack on Orange property so far this year.

Two Orange Halls Attacked
Two Orange Halls have been attacked over the weekend. A number of paint bombs were thrown at Rosedernott Orange hall, outside Cloughmills, during the early hours of Sunday, 23 July. A Union flag was also removed, and a flag pole damaged, from inside the grounds of Roden Orange hall in Kilkeel.

Rosslea Orange Hall Destroyed By Fire
A fire in County Fermanagh has destroyed an Orange hall in the early hours of Friday morning. Police and the fire service are investigating the cause of the blaze at Inver Orange Hall in Rosslea, which is a result of a suspected arson attack. The alert was raised after a woman who lives nearby saw the flames.

Police are treating an attack on an Orange Hall in Crumlin, Co Antrim, as a hate crime. The PSNI received a report that a bin was on fire in the Main Street area of the town at around 4.30am on Thursday, 12 July. Graffiti was daubed on a wall and door of the memorial hall. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
