NI Beat Czech Republic By 2-0

Northern Ireland defeated the Czech Republic in a 2-0 win at Windsor Park.

The result secures the team a second spot in Group C, which means they are now closer to a World Cup play off.

Defender Jonny Evans scored the first goal and Chris Brunt fired in a free-kick just before the interval.

Before the match Manager Michael O'Neill said he had "no doubt the team will handle it well".

He said: "I think our experiences during the Euro 2016 campaign, where we rose to the occasion when we had big prizes to play for, will hold us in good stead."
