Security Alert In Fermanagh Ends
A security alert in Fermanagh has now ended.
A number of suspicious items were discovered in Irvinestown on Monday, 04 September.
Pupils were evacuated from St Paul's Primary School on the Lisnarick Road during the alert.
The PSNI have seized the objects which have been taken away for further forensic examination.
Inspector Rory Hoy said: "When it comes to public safety we cannot take chances, and we would like to thank local people and the wider community in Irvinestown for their patience and understanding throughout the operation.
"I would appeal for anyone with information about this incident to please contact us. It is only with your help that we can make our communities safer.
"Anyone who knows anything about this incident, or who saw any unusual activity in the area is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 202 of 04/09/17. Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously through the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111."

Viable Device Recovered In Belfast Security Alert
Police have recovered a viable device following a security alert in Belfast. Residents had to be evacuated from their homes and widespread disruption was caused during the alert in North Queen Street on Tuesday, 12 September. The device has been sent for further examination. The alert has now ended.

Crossmaglen Security Alert Continues
A security alert is continuing in Crossmaglen this morning following the discovery of a suspicious object. On Wednesday, a device, understood to be a beer keg, was found left close to a north-south electricity interconnector. The discovery followed a telephone warning that a bomb had been left in the Co Armagh village.

Appeal For Information Following L'Derry Security Alert
The PSNI has announced that a security alert in the Limewood Street area of L'Derry has now ended, following the removal of a viable suspected pipe bomb. The alert began at around 7.30pm on Monday, 04 November, when an object was thrown at a house in the area.

Residents have been evacuated from their homes during a security alert just outside west Belfast. A suspect device was reported to police in the Poleglass area on Monday, 30 October. The Bell Steel Road and Pantridge Road areas were sealed off during the alert.
