Co Tyrone expansion scheme to create 15 jobs
A £500,000 expansion scheme to a Co Tyrone retail and office space is set to create 15 new jobs.
Moygashel Community Development Association announced the scheme for the expansion to the Linen Green complex which will be financed with support from the International Fund for Ireland and the Rural Development Council.
The Linen Green currently comprises 33,000 sq ft of workspace, retail and office units, a restaurant and a linen heritage museum, providing over 100 jobs to date.
This latest expansion will see the renovation of around 22,000 sq ft of derelict warehousing to provide industrial workspace units adjoining the existing unit.
Commenting on the plans, International Fund for Ireland Chairman, William T McCarter said the project would enhance the complex and surrounding environment as well as creating further employment opportunities in the area.
