Teenager Dies In Co Antrim Scrambler Crash

A teenager has died in a crash which involved a scrambler motorbike and a car in Co Antrim.

The collision happened on the Taughey Road in Ballymoney on Saturday, 23 September.

Marcus Forsythe, 15, was killed and another person on the scrambler was injured.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "The collision between a scrambler and a car occurred at approximately 4.48pm.

"A second passenger on the scrambler was treated at hospital for injuries not thought to be life threatening at this time. The occupants of the car were treated at the scene for shock.

"We are appealing for anyone who was on the Taughey Road yesterday afternoon at around the time of the collision to contact police in Coleraine on the non-emergency number, quoting reference number 1042 of 23/09/17."

Police Renew Appeal After Woman Killed In Scrambler Collision
Police have renewed an appeal for witnesses after a woman was killed in a scrambler collision in west Belfast over three weeks ago. Valerie Armstrong, aged 35, died after being struck by the scrambler in Colin Glen Forest Park at around 6pm on Tuesday, 19 July.
