Teenager Threatened With 'Large Knife' In North Belfast
Police have launched an investigation after a teenager was threatened with a knife in north Belfast.
The 15-year-old was cycling in the Brown Street area with his pals at around 10pm on Monday, 25 September.
He was approached by a man on a bicycle who was armed with a knife.
He demanded the teen to hand over his bike and made off.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "A 15 year old was out cycling in Brown Street with his friends at around 10pm last night. An unknown male also on a bicycle, approached him and produced a large knife and demanded his bicycle from him. Fearful for his own safety the 15 year old gave up his prized bike. The assailant left the bicycle he had been on behind and headed off towards Millfield on the victims bike.
"Any with information should ontact Constable Campbell at Tennent Street PSNI on 101 quoting reference 1634 of the 25/9/17."

Earlier this year, the Minister provided funding to successfully resolve the long-running industrial dispute over teachers' pay for 2021-24.

Man Dies After Bus Fall In Belfast
Detectives are investigating the death of an 80-year-old man who fell from a bus in Belfast. Police have said that they believe the man was travelling on a 2J Translink Metro bus service at around 11:15am on Friday, 08 November, when he suffered a fall as the bus travelled along Royal Avenue, near it's junction with North Street.
