Invest NI Announce Trade Mission To Chile & Argentina
Invest NI has announced a trade mission visit to Chile and Argentina from 19-22 March, 2018.
The mission will be multi-sectoral and open to companies wishing to develop their exports to this region. Businesses are invited to join the mission and take advantage of the business opportunities within the region.
Chile's economy is driven by the exceptional exports of the mining industry and agricultural products, and consistently ranks with one of the highest growth rates in the world. This creates a very stable and wealthy economy, with investments across all trade sectors, and the spending power and living standard expectations of one of the largest middle class in Latin America.
Argentina is the third largest economy in Latin America, a highly industrial nation, driven by exports of the oil & gas, mining industry and agricultural products. Argentina experienced a change of government implementing significant economic development reforms and re-opening the economy to imports and international payments.
According to Invest NI the benefits of participation include:
• Advice and support on doing business in Latin America from our in-market consultant
• Programme arranging through the in-market adviser in Latin America
• Workshop to optimise individual sales pitch techniques
• Direct insights into local market opportunities and conditions
• Networking events providing you with the opportunity to meet with local industry representatives
• Direct insights into local market opportunities and conditions
• Up to 50% contribution towards economy airfares*
• Up to £75 per night towards accommodation*
Tailored market research for your company in both these countries will be provided by Invest NI. An individual appointment setting service can also be provided for your company, the cost of which will be subsidised by Invest NI (Cost to Company £125 +VAT per day).
*Contribution towards airfares and accommodation is for one participant per company only
