Investigation Launched Following Two Burglaries In Co Down
Police have launched an investigation following two burglaries in Co Down.
The PSNI believes that both burglaries in Holywood may be linked and have released a description of two males.
In the first incident, a sum of cash was stolen as well as a safe, a PlayStation 4 with games and a clock.
In the second burglary a sum of cash and a safe were taken.
The first male has been described as between 5ft 8in and 5ft 10in tall. He was wearing a light baggy tracksuit top, navy tracksuit bottoms, a ski balaclava mask and gloves and was carrying a crowbar.
The second man has been described as wearing a dark tracksuit top and dark jeans, dark Adidas plimsoll soles, and a ski balaclava mask and gloves.
The two males were seen pushing a black bin in the direction of Downshire Road.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Suffers Head Injury In Belfast Assault
A man has suffered a head injury after being attacked by four men in the Friendly Street area of south Belfast. The incident happened at around 7pm on Wednesday 09 January. The victim, aged in his 20's, has been taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Man Attacked In Ballymena
A man has been attacked by two intruders who forced their way into a house in Ballymena. The victim was punched in the face and beaten with a baseball bat at a property on Princess Street at around 6pm on Tuesday, 04 May. He did not need hospital treatment, however he did receive media attention.

Man Arrested Over Number Of Burglaries In Ballymena
A man has been arrested on suspicion of a number of burglaries and attempted burglaries in Ballymena. As part of an investigation, the PSNI searched a house in Co Antrim after a number of commercial burglaries in the town centre over the past six months.
