Appeal Issued For Missing Man Aaron English

Police are appealing for information to help trace a man from Newtownards in Co Down who was last seen in Belgium.

Aaron English, aged 29, was last spoken to at the Belgian Embassy in Brussels on Tuesday, 09 January.

He was in some difficulties in relation to accommodation and was trying to get back home. He found shelter for the night and his family pre-paid for him to get back to Northern Ireland.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Unfortunately that was the last contact made and despite being alerted as a missing person through Interpol and our International Liaison there has been nothing further and he has not travelled home.

"Aaron is in no trouble whatsoever and his family back home in Ards simply need him to get in touch and let them know he is safe and well."

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
